Question 20 of The Never-Ending Book asks, "What's the past of eating?" with answer options, "eaten", "brag", "hunt", and "shop". This is pretty much similar to Question 17, which asks "What's the past of puking?"
While "eaten" and "hunt" make sense for different reasons, it turns out that the correct answer isn't one of the answer options! "Eaten" is the past participle of "eat", but the past tense of the word is "ate", so to pass, you're supposed to press 8 on the keyboard!
